Exhibition of Sustainable Art Objects at the Tokushima Prefecture Zone, Kansai Pavilion

At the Kansai Pavilion’s “Tokushima Prefecture Zone,” we will hold the closing special exhibition “Circulating Jewel (Meguri Hōju): The Form of Life and Prayer".

The object featured in this exhibition was created through a collaborative effort between Tokushima Prefectural Joto High School and Indonesia’s Brawijaya Smart School. From collecting PET bottles as raw materials to drafting the original design concept, the students took part in the entire process, and Tokushima City–born designer Junro Miyako brought the work to life as a finished object.

This exhibition, created through international exchange by students who will shape the future, stands as a sustainable achievement and is a fitting conclusion to the Expo. We warmly invite you to come and see it.
