To share the spiritual and cultural appeal of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, a shared tourism asset of the four Shikoku prefectures, visitors experienced rituals such as purification and osunafumi (stepping on sand representing each temple), guided by Buddhist monks.

To share Tokushima’s traditional indigo dyeing culture with the world, indigo dyeing demonstrations were held at various international pavilions (Thailand, Czech Republic, Canada, Germany, Jordan, Italy), using local materials from each pavilion. These dyed items are planned for future display at the Tokushima Prefectural Office.
