Recruitment Closed
With six months to go until Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Tokushima Prefecture had opened recruitment for attendants at its booth in the Kansai Pavilion.
Attendants would be responsible for guiding visitors, explaining exhibits, and supporting Tokushima’s hospitality throughout the Expo period. The role was ideal for those passionate about sharing the charm of Tokushima, including its nature, food, Awa Odori dance, and traditional culture.
Period: April 1, 2025 – October 13, 2025 (includes approx. 7 days of on-site training and 5 days of prior training)
Hours: Early shift 8:30–16:45 / Late shift 13:00–21:15 (7 hr 15 min shift + 1 hr break, 2 days off per week)
Pay: ¥1,850 per hour + transportation allowance (up to ¥25,000/month) + other benefits
Openings: Around 30 positions (closed once filled)

To boost momentum toward Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Tokushima Prefecture has been actively participating in events inside and outside the prefecture to promote both the Expo and local culture. This summer, official Expo mascot “Myaku-Myaku” and Tokushima’s own “Sudachi-kun” made appearances across various festivals and events throughout Tokushima.
